budgetappliance Says:

Feb 21, 2011 - In Bahrain, Americans are treated like Gods. Unfortunately, they believe in allah and will behead you!

zozoliii Says:

Feb 22, 2011 - People who are saying "dont go to Bh not to get shot* are clearly dumb. Goverment would not shot anyone for no reason. If you're looking for freedom dont forget about peace either.

CreepyLizard Says:

Feb 22, 2011 - @baelr0g Bahrain has to lowest crime rates in the world :P people don't normally get shot, especially not as much as they do in NYC. Lotsa expats live here, they praise Bahrain of providing the most relaxed friendly life style they ever received, making Bahrain the top 1 Friendliest Country according to Frobes 2009. There's more to research about Bahrain than CNN. ;) The current events, nothing like this ever happened before - and now the police are 100% halted, political prisoners released.

CreepyLizard Says:

Feb 22, 2011 - @infamousgorn Nope the government is there to protect you from the likes of "DEVILBOY" in page 2/3 of the comment section. What happened in recent days isn't how Bahrain is normally like - you may speak with expats who worked in Bahrain for over 30 years on "We are Bahrain" on Facebook to understand how like really is - not just how it was for 2 days; which marked the first time you even ever heard of Bahrain :P Bahrain was the number 1 friendliest country in Frobes2009 - all this for a reason

BrianXD16 Says:

Mar 26, 2011 - i want to see bahrain but i hear at the moment on the tv that it is unsafe at the moment

CreepyLizard Says:

Mar 30, 2011 - @budgetappliance are you trying to make a funny? :P

CreepyLizard Says:

May 8, 2011 - @baelr0g I'm a 20 year old Bahrain and not once have I felt threatened by gunfire in my little island. The recent fatalities were caused by close-range clashes with rubber bullets, where some of the violent protesters approached the police force with knives, the same likes to kill indians simply for being "Sunni foreigners", about 8 indians were brutally killed (and some were even taken hostage into Bahrain's main hospital - videos in my account show) by violent protesters.

CreepyLizard Says:

May 8, 2011 - @baelr0g On the other hand - Bahrain has been a very peaceful place pre 2011, one with high human development and health care. It's also worth noting that many expats feel more comfortable living in Bahrain than back in Britain and the reasons why can be found on their Facebook page: "we are Bahrain". Only 8 died due to the violent crackdown - which only became violent after some protesters ran into the police force with weaponry - and right after the 8 fatalities continued+

CreepyLizard Says:

May 8, 2011 - @baelr0g Right after the 8 fatalities (Keep in mind its only 8 after a 3 days of violent protests that included up to 5000+) the police and army completely withdrew afterwards, protesters were allowed to gather in the roundabout again - the government called for dialogue instead; the protests main figures, Al-Wefaq religious extremists, refused. The government released political prisoners. Kicked out 4 corrupt ministers. Laid down 20,000 employment oppritunities and housing project

CreepyLizard Says:

May 8, 2011 - @baelr0g All in a period of time where not a bullet was shot. No presence of police at the roundabout, as well - in return, protesters, usually young men, under the guidence of religious figures which you can simply see by googling "MEMRI TV state of mehdi" - motivated and pushed protesters to head furher - into occupying the whole capital, blocking roads, forcing Bahrainis not to attend work while they are on their way, and even created a site to expose locations of Sunni exapts (Jordanians)

CreepyLizard Says:

May 8, 2011 - @baelr0g + Attacking sunni city, Riffa, when the residents in it already expressed they were not welcome, and attempting to invade the financial harbor - stabbing 2 unarmed traffic police (also in my account) - Going for "Shehada" by protesting next to King Hamad's governmental house himself; he responded with water and dates, not bullets. Only then, the police intervened again (With the presence of the Saudi army, protecting government buildings in southern Bahrain)

CreepyLizard Says:

May 8, 2011 - The future of Bahrain is now a mystery - but we are all hoping for reforms; not an oppritunity for Al-Wefaq Islamists to get in power. Which they will; 61% of the votes were directed to their representatives

r4inful Says:

May 16, 2011 - i love bahrain
