Shortly after our arrival in Belize City, we had to grab a puddle-jumper to Dangriga. It ran over half an hour late because the pilot was taking his lunch. Once aboard though the flight was incredible, and we got a lot of footage. When we got on the plane the pilot didn't announce anything on the radio, which was a bit strange. So when we landed halfway through the flight we thought we had arrived in Dangriga! But no! Everyone looked at us strangely for attempting to get off the plane, so we got back ON the plane and THEN he made his first announcement! DANGRIGA NEXT -- FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS! "Well, OK... but if Woody had gone straight to the Police, this would never have happened!"

Nov 9, 2008 - It appears that that short stop was at the Belize Municipal airport about six minutes away from the international airport. Being a microsoft flight simulator pilot I've landed and crashed all over Belize many times so I'm kind of familiar with the area. Honeymoon in Dangriga? Why?
BelizeHoneymoon Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - The Honeymoon wasn't in Dangriga - that was just the airport we arrived in. We stayed in a pretty luxurious beach front resort called Jaguar Reef, just south of Hopkins. It was really pretty amazing experience. Plus, we didnt want to do a stereotypical honeymoon. Plus I wanted to see the Mayan Ruins. Thanks for the DL on the airport... they never told us.

Apr 23, 2009 - Ive flow on this particular flight with this carrier many, many times before, as a matter of fact you should have been informed atleast two times before i.e. once at check in and another at pax briefing by the pilot prior to start up. Its the normal route for that flight to go to Dangriga via the municipal airport. Also, I wouldn't fault the pilot for a 30-45 min delay as I have experienced more than 45 min delays right here in the US, im talking major carriers. These things do occur.
BelizeHoneymoon Says:
Apr 24, 2009 - That's a "No" to info @ check in, and an even bigger "NO" to the "Pax briefing". Nada. If they had told us, we wouldn't have attempted to get off the plane at the municipal airport. Trust me I had the camera running from the moment we were strapped in. Honestly, we really mind all that much if it hadnt happened we wouldnt have had something to focus on in the video.

BelizeHoneymoon Says:
Oct 5, 2009 - Thank you! I had a lot of fun making them. The music for these videos are from various artists, from different compilation sets I have such as Buddha Bar, Shiva Beats, Destination Lounge, etc, etc. I can give you a list of more, but once you start down that road, youll find them all.
