Aug 13, 2010 - Canadian Rockies are more spectacular than anything in US, only the Swiss alps can compare, and train is such a fantastic way too see this! As in Switzerland I had so much more fun when not using the car at all! You will almost get addicted to train travel when seeing such wonderful places while travelling with train...Banff and Jasper and Yoho are all such great places. And this video is still nothing compared to the reality! Lake Louise is the most awesome lake I've ever seen.

Jul 12, 2007 - Yes VIA is average for the average traveller. If you want that extra experience then travel with Rocky. I have taken both trains and the service was not nearly comparable. Thanks though but my dollar and word of mouth will always stick with that tour.
