The Missions Ministry of Church of God John 3:16, Inc. in Orlando , FL has joined efforts with Iglesia Biblica Misionera Inc. in the Dominican Republic to help the needy and to bring the gospel in a practical way. It is called The Gaspar Hernandez 2009 Missions' Project. The Gaspar Hernandez 2009 Missions' Project is intended to provide clothing, school supplies, food and other vital items to the children of a rural area (village) of a small town of the Dominican Republic called Gaspar Hernandez. Along with the supplies, we are bringing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the children. A group of local brothers and sisters with their leader brother Radames Surun hold Sundays Bible school every week. Currently, we are outreaching between 30-50 children weekly and the number is increasing as more people continue to join the project.

Aunque lo triste de todo es que nosotros aquí pensamos que estamos mejor que ellos, y sin embargo ellos teniendo menos o nada, son mas felices que nosotros; porque no basan sus vidas en los bienes materiales que puedan poseer.
