Some shots from a trip I took the family on in October 2008, to the stunningly beautiful Falkland Islands. For me, it was the 7th visit, but the first for the family. The wildlife is spectacular, as is the scenery, and the clear and huge skies. The people are tremendously friendly and fiercely patriotic to their British status. I would throroughly recommend the Islands as a top place to visit.

Oct 11, 2011 - Very interesting set of photographs. As a teenager I was really into bird watching and had many books on wildlife. Unfortunately my thoughts of this place are somewhat different. These images are so much more joyful - thank you for posting.
