Mar 29, 2011 - @CowgirlSoldier Happy you are excited about going. Its beautiful there. But dont expect it to be like the mainland. Even though on the surface it seems like suburbia USA. Guam is its own little world. Many that relocate to the island from the mainland expect it to be the same, but they are taken by surprise when they see how things are run on the island. Guam is a blend of many peoples and influences. You must be very open minded in order to adapt well. I wish you the best.
