Feb 4, 2010 - Excellent presentation. I had an opportunity to live and teach on Ebeye (Calvary High) for 5 years and yes.living in Ebeye was an experience I would never forget. The overpopulation, the lack of water, the medical facilities, the crowded houses were all part of life on this small island. We ought to live there to understand what the people are goin through. It may be called the slum of the Pacific, but for me, in those 5 years , it was my Paradise...My Home !!! God Bless the Ri-Ebeyes.

Sep 2, 2010 - I'm from Kwajalein Ebeye to be more exact. He's right the living condition on Ebeye is hard, there could be no water for weeks on end not to mention power or electricity... The people were relocated from the islands across Kwajalein Atoll to be in a safezone so they won't get bombed on by the missels being shot from California... I lovd Ebeye with all my hearts it is my home... it is also hell on earth.

Sep 14, 2010 - I just want to add,to the presentation, living on the tiny Island is like hell, there is no water hardly any food, power or electricity turns off on a daily bases, I was actually raised on Ebeye, and let me tell you it was not fun, the schools levels are very poor and there is violance everywhere you turn, as a kid on Ebeye things were very rough, lets just say if you worked on Kwaj you were making at lease $3.50 an hour us money bring home $400.00 / $500.00 everyother week. You werent making it.
