Books: Heavy into Sci-Fi and murder mysteries, love the JD Robb series, in addition to David Eddings' works. Heinlein, too. Used to be a Stephen King fan, but he got a little too weird for me. Kinsey Milhone is also a good protagonist.
Movies: Les Mis, Rent, Picasso at the Lapin Agile for shows; movies, the spectrum is varied, ranging from Disney to the Lord of the Rings to Romancing the Stone. Lots in between, too.
