Apr 21, 2011 - This is for tourists who wants to visit nepal and wants to know little bit about the meaning of nepal. the term nepal starts from 4th BCE. before that, the himalayas region was known as "kiratdesh" Secondly the term "nepal" came from kirati word "nepala". the kirati meaning of nepala is "yo bhumi afai bolchha"("the land says itself" ) watch this documatary --> "Origin of the term "Nepal" And yes visit nepal, forget about the modern world, worries, stress and have a great time.
