TV Broadcast of the entire "Ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea" held at the May Day Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea on September 4, 2001. Certainly the TV broadcast wouldn't do justice to actually being there and witnessing over 100,000 performers. This was pretty hard to find on the internet and very few people will ever see this outside of the DPRK, let alone travel to north korea to see their mass games.

Oct 9, 2010 - @thedjudjubeast well it aren't cards actually, according to a nephew and his girlfriend (who've seen those mass games IRL) it are books with coloured pages and it are probably more then 20.000 people on that background :P but it's still amazing! =D

Oct 11, 2010 - The human screen in the back is controlled by school children holding a large book of coloured cards. Some of these cards are printed so the overall picture is smooth instead of pixel-like, so instead of the card being one solid colour, some of the cards could have (for example) the corner of someone's eye, the other a part of a flower.. if you get the drift xD I just wanted to clear up how those insane pictures were made up, and believe me, I didn't think such smooth pictures were possible!

Apr 13, 2011 - These events are beautiful, but they are nothing, compared to what you can see, using Google Earth. Are you people all sleeping? You don´t need to go to DPRK to see it all over in great detail. Use Google Earth Pro: devide the country in narrow strips, and follow them using the "line path tool", or just follow the river streamlines to set your pathway. Add some points at the highest land picks, in mountainous terrain, to pass over; it is an awesome experience about a country so much lied about!
shzywansui Says:
Apr 13, 2011 - @jsnovais1000 Yes, by using Google Earth, you can see loads of prison camps, luxurious villas used by Kim Jong Il and party cadres, and dilapidated buildings for normal people. I would, however, find the Mass Games more beautiful than the torture chambers of the DPRK's gulag.
shzywansui Says:
Apr 13, 2011 - @jbentje That's correct, they're books. There's no way they could have such an elaborate display with two-sided cards.
jsnovais1000 Says:
Apr 13, 2011 - @shzywansui Hi, man, show-up your face; don´t hide! —why don´t you use your real name or go back to your country and stay there? Do you know what? —I am glad that DPRK has prison camps and that they keep their criminals there; by the way, if it were possible I would ask Kim to take all criminals of my country and keep them there too, but, to do that, they would have to multiply their prison camps by more than100, and they have other priorities... Take a hike or, get lost! —You know I know you!!
shzywansui Says:
Apr 14, 2011 - @jsnovais1000 To condone torture is to be a torturer, and to condone murder is to be a murderer. Shame on all the ignorant and/or cruel-hearted people out there who support the barbaric prison system run by Kim Jong Il's monarchic government.
jsnovais1000 Says:
Apr 14, 2011 - @shzywansui, you are implying that I am something that I am not and I never was: I am not a torturer, I am not a murderer, I am not a liar and I am not running away or hiding from anything; are you? — why don´t you show your face? — are you an impostor? I believe what I see, not what others want me to believe, like it is in the case of Google Earth in this context, about DPRK country. From what I see, G.W.Bush must be your idol—Damn, for everything that it means, by far, I prefer Kim to Bush!

Apr 14, 2011 - this is really amazing all we hear is the bad things of dprk but this is beautiful
shzywansui Says:
Apr 15, 2011 - @jsnovais1000 Impostor of what? You are making random assumptions without any factual basis. Bush was a terrible "leader" who imposed imperialist policies on countries across the globe, and who condoned the use of torture and extraordinary rendition (not that other American "leaders" haven't). Still, Kim is obviously far worse than Bush. You said that you are glad that the DPRK has its prison camps, and that you would like people sent there. Anyone with that opinion is as good as a torturer.

Apr 17, 2011 - @shzywansui Impostor is a person who pretends to be someone else in order to deceive others. —You said: "Still, Kim is obviously far worse than Bush".— Prove it! —You also said: "You said that you are glad that the DPRK has its prison camps, and that you would like people sent there. Anyone with that opinion is as good as a torturer." —Read it again, impostor! —You are a LIAR! — I said: "CRIMINALS" NOT PEOPLE! —You should not run away from justice, by hiding your face and your real identity!

Oct 30, 2011 - It´s funny to see how capitalist boys/girls jump on the stupidity wagon to visit DPRK for the sole purpose of insulting their leader Kim Jong Il! They don´t understand that they have been brainwashed by their governments´ agencies and Google, and indoctrinated to dig for shit when they arrive at DPRK. When they arrive at DPRK, they try to play rich, and they can´t even wonder that, back in their countries, their moms and restaurants prepare their meals with rice imported from DPRK!—Surprised?
jsnovais1000 Says:
Oct 30, 2011 - Starving, DPRK? — ...I have to admit that it happened but, currently, what you see when Googling Earth over DPRK is prepared just to feed the Google community. Guess what: what DPRK lets you see on its surface is for you to have some fun; the black-outs are for you to wonder what is going on underground...—Surprised? DPRK is prepared to survive!—If US americans (imperialist capitalists) bomb their dams, US americans will become short of rice to eat! Those 50 million starving will grow to 100M.
