Jul 16, 2011 - You know, if you pause it at 0:17 (try to time it as it goes by very fast), you'll see that a lot of the buildings are indeed dilapidated as madoffler noted in his comment. Which to me shows that things are so bad in North Korea that even when they try to promote tourism it's hard for them to hide just how awful their country is. It sure goes by fast, though! I'm surprised they don't show that small section of Pyongyang where all those monuments to the Kims are.

I'm like you, by the way, that I sometimes think of North Korea as one giant insane religious cult rather than one big prison like some people think. But either way a truly horrible place to be.
