Jan 25, 2007 - I want to visit! I checked out Jordan and Saudia last yr but I just assumed I could buy a visa at the border of Syria just like you buy a visa from the airport in Jordan so when I reached the border I was informed that I was supposed to get one from Syrias embassy in Jordan. The people at the border were really nice though and didn't want to turn me away it seemed. Made some calls but alas couldn't be done.
