Jun 6, 2011 - I don't know why so many Westerners goto Pattaya. It's one of Thailand's worst beaches. It's crowded and dirty and the road runs right up behind the beach. There are so many better beaches from Phuket to Koh Samet. If you visit Thailand, do yourself a favor and stay away from Pattaya.
