Jul 3, 2008 - Yes, Tibet is a lovely place in China. But its high alltitude is also dangerous. The air oxygen percentage in Tibet is only 1/3 of that of low places. Most local are born with special body organs (espeically blood and heart), which are suitable for this high alltitude. I heard it will be the most dangerous if you frequently travel between Tibet and low ground places, as your body system cannot adjust to environment so quickly.
