After leaving Sydney, we drove north on the Australian East Coast. The Pacific Highway brought us to Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay, Surfers Paradise and Brisbane. From there we travelled to Auckland, New Zealand. We stayed here for a few days in preparation for our island adventures.

Apr 25, 2009 - Fuck I miss doing that run from Sydney to Brisbane... I would rather spend two days or so driving than an hour in a jet.... Great times!!!
