So we jumped on a bus in Samarkand and after an hour landed in the Urgut Bazaar, a cacophony of colour, noise and people! We loved it.

The market of Urgut close to Samarkand..a good place to take nice pictures....Uzbek people are very friendly and they are very happy to stand in front of a camera.....if you have ever been in India, you know that there taking pictures is really troublesome.....

We stopped off at the local cafe in Urgut and climbed into some Plov and Shashlik (how I miss shashlik). The food was great. We were worried we would get sick but in the end it was all good.
