We stopped off at the local cafe in Urgut and climbed into some Plov and Shashlik (how I miss shashlik). The food was great. We were worried we would get sick but in the end it was all good.

Oct 1, 2009 - You are and all guests always welcome to Samarkand and to any cities of Uzbekistan!

durbanbay Says:

Oct 1, 2009 - Thanks a lot. We really loved Uzbekistan. The sites were awesome but for us the highlight were the people. The Uzbek people must be the friendliest and warmest people on earth. It was one of our best trips ever and Uzbekistan has a special place in our hearts. We already plan to go back next year or the year after. Next time we will go east.
